Gabriel Patay was born in Evanston, IL, a north suburb of Chicago. From there he went to art school at Columbia College Chicago and developed a love of films and cinematography. Shooting documentaries for personal projects and friends soon transformed into work with short films, commercials, and music videos. His work has brought him to many different foreign countries and environments and he hopes to continue to see and experience new exciting places.

Aside from films, Gabriel has a strong love of music and history. It has helped to cement his excitement and appreciation for all the creative fields and their importance. Recently, Gabriel has moved to Los Angeles in hopes of meeting and collaborating with even more talented and creative people, and to further develop his body of work.
